Mr. D. K. Gupta, an IIT Kharagpur graduate, founded Vinyl Products in 1971, beginning with the trading of PVC Compounds. Over the past five decades, his visionary leadership has transformed the business into a diversified conglomerate involved in manufacturing, trading, finance, retail, hospitality, and real estate — setting a benchmark for success and growth across industries. His dedication to the Group extends far beyond his formal role; his influence and values continue to shape the organization at every level. Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, Mr. Gupta has, alongside his professional accomplishments, remained deeply committed to philanthropic initiatives and community projects — reflecting a belief that true success is measured not just in business, but in the difference one makes beyond it.
Mr. Ashish Gupta completed his graduation from Delhi University and went on to pursue an MBA before joining the family business in 1995. A second-generation entrepreneur, he has been instrumental in shaping Vinyl’s growth over the decades. One of his key achievements has been driving the Group’s backward integration into PVC Stabilizers and Plasticizers. Under his leadership, the Group began manufacturing these inputs in-house, strengthening control over quality, supply, and cost, while laying the foundation for Vinyl’s presence across the full manufacturing value chain. His tenure has also seen Group’s expansion into the finance sector through its NBFC. Ashish remains a driving force behind Vinyl’s commitment to quality products and service. His collaborative leadership style has fostered a culture of open communication, integrity, and mutual respect — empowering his team to take ownership while encouraging innovation and creativity. A deep commitment to ethical business practices and social responsibility remains embedded in the company’s culture under his guidance, and his strategic direction continues to propel Vinyl toward even greater success.
Mr. Amay Gupta, a third-generation entrepreneur, holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Economics from Warwick University and a postgraduate degree in Management for Family Business from the Indian School of Business. Since joining the Group in 2022, Amay has driven exponential growth across Vinyl’s core manufacturing businesses — Plasticizers, PVC Compounds, and PVC Stabilizers — through deeper market penetration, expanded market share, and an expanded product portfolio. His approach has been defined by a balance of strategic ambition and operational depth, allowing the business to scale while staying closely attuned to market needs. A key milestone under his leadership was Vinyl’s entry into phthalate-free plasticizers, marked by the commissioning of a dedicated plant within the Daman Plasticizer Manufacturing facility — underscoring his sustainability-focused approach to growth. He has also diversified the Group beyond manufacturing, establishing Albert Estate, Mussoorie, a 4-villa boutique resort. Amay brings fresh energy and strategic thinking to the organization, combining academic knowledge with hands-on industry exposure to help shape the next phase of the Group’s growth.
